WE College Faculties
School of Tourism and Hospitality
Tourism in one of Kenya’s leading sources of revenue.
With a booming tourism industry in the Maasai Mara, there is significant market demand for professionals in this field. WE College offers a two-year certificate program for Tour Guide Operators and Tour Camp Managers.
Courses include: the Fundamentals of Hotel Operations, Business Planning and Ecotourism. Every student is offered an internship placement in one of the local Mara camps, where they gain invaluable experience in customer care, maintenance and guiding tours.
School of Nursing
Access to health services is limited in rural Kenya,
due to inadequate infrastructure and a lack of trained professionals.
In Narok County, there is only one doctor for every 100,000 people. The School of Nursing at WE College trains students to become skilled health professionals capable of serving their home communities.
Courses include: Clinical Skills and General Nursing, Midwifery, Medical Nursing and Pediatric Nursing. Students apply their knowledge during practical rotations at WE Charity’s Baraka Hospital and Kishon Health Clinic, as well as at government hospitals and clinics.
